- JUJoanna UbaMay 17, 20265.0I cannot recommend Gallagher Groomers in Coventry highly enough. Two years ago, with absolutely no experience or knowledge about grooming a Rough Collie, I trusted them with my dog for the very first time. Three girls spent over three hours washing her, brushing out mats, removing the thick undercoat, trimming her nails, cleaning her ears and sanitary areas, and beautifully shaping her mane, paws, and feathering. The result was absolutely perfect. It was during winter, and my dog looked stunning. The following spring I tried to book them again, but unfortunately there were no appointments available. I found another private groomer in Coventry and the result was heartbreaking. Instead of carefully brushing out the mats under her neck and around her back legs, she simply cut them out. My beautiful Collie looked disfigured, as if she had been in an accident. I was devastated and promised myself never again. This Friday, 15th May, I finally managed to book Gallagher again from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm — and once more the result exceeded all my expectations. The same wonderful girl groomed my Rona with incredible patience and skill. She carefully brushed out every old mat without cutting the coat, and trimmed her with such precision and elegance that she looked like ready for a dog show. The paws, nails, collar, behind the ears, tummy area, and thick winter undercoat were all done to perfection. When we left, Rona’s coat was shining, silky, and flowing beautifully. During our walks, every single person admired how gorgeous, healthy, and professionally groomed she looked. Her fur smelled amazing and moved like silk. I have promised myself that from now on I will only ever trust this salon with my dog. The girls work with genuine dedication, professionalism, patience, and attention to detail. And please believe me — a Rough Collie requires three times more work than most breeds! Most importantly, my dog was calm, happy, muzzle-free, and clearly comfortable throughout the entire experience. Highly recommended!
